SemiAI Participates as Finalist in Lam Capital Venture Competition, Presenting a Vision for Global Semiconductor AI Innovation

• Introduced the fab-native AI platform “SMILE” at a global venture event hosted by Lam Research in the United States • Event attended by leaders from the global semiconductor and AI ecosystem, including Intel, NVIDIA, Samsung, and SK hynix • Aims to define a new standard for semiconductor manufacturing yield innovation through an Agentic AI-based integrated AI system

SEOUL, June 9, 2026 — SemiAI, a semiconductor manufacturing AI startup led by CEO Taekwon Ji, announced that it participated as a finalist in the 2026 Lam Capital Venture Competition held on May 21 in Fremont, California, presenting its semiconductor manufacturing AI technology and global expansion vision. The Lam Capital Venture Competition is a global venture event hosted by Lam Capital, the investment organization of Lam Research. This year’s event focused on AI, advanced manufacturing, automation, and Agentic AI as core themes shaping the future of semiconductor manufacturing. The event brought together senior executives from Lam Research and key figures from the global semiconductor, AI, and investment ecosystem, including Intel Capital, NVIDIA, Samsung Ventures, SK hynix America, TSMC North America, AMD, Micron, Microsoft M12, and BlackRock. At the event, SemiAI introduced “SMILE,” its fab-native AI platform for semiconductor manufacturing, to the global market. SMILE is an AI software platform designed to support manufacturing data-based yield issue prediction, root cause analysis for abnormalities, and optimization of process decision-making. SemiAI believes that fragmented machine-learning approaches alone are no longer sufficient to solve the complex yield challenges of advanced semiconductor manufacturing. The company expects that an integrated AI system—in which multiple AI agents collaborate, reason iteratively, and solve manufacturing problems holistically—will become a key engine of semiconductor manufacturing innovation. Following the presentation, SemiAI is actively continuing follow-up cooperation discussions with Lam Research as well as venture capital firms, strategic investors, and technical experts across the global semiconductor ecosystem. Through individual meetings with global leaders, the company shared its technology direction and the potential for practical application in real manufacturing environments.
