SemiAI Pursues Partnership with Williamson County Economic Development Partnership in Texas
Discussions on Texas Semiconductor Cluster Connectivity and Investment Incentives

Semiconductor AI startup SemiAI announced on the 11th that it discussed plans to enter the North American market in cooperation with the Williamson County Economic Development Partnership.
CEO Taekwon Jee met at SemiAI's headquarters with a delegation from the Williamson County Economic Development Partnership—including Dave Porter, President of the Williamson County Economic Development Partnership, and Ben White, President of the Taylor Economic Development Corporation—to discuss strategic cooperation with the Texas semiconductor cluster.
The delegation outlined the Texas investment environment and incentive programs. Key agenda items included tax relief options and connections to local financial institutions to support investment attraction—part of a comprehensive package of business-development support.
The two sides signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to formalize their cooperation on North American expansion and agreed to develop a detailed execution roadmap going forward.
The delegation introduced the "SelectUSA Spinoff" site-visit program scheduled for April in Williamson County and invited SemiAI to participate. The program supports companies considering North American expansion by offering on-site verification of industrial infrastructure, real-estate sites, and investment environments.
"We are preparing to enter the U.S. market on the strength of our AI-based semiconductor process optimization technology," Jee said. "With this partnership with the Williamson County Economic Development Partnership as a catalyst, we will accelerate our North American expansion."
Meanwhile, Williamson County—located north of the Texas state capital, Austin—is emerging as a U.S. semiconductor cluster. Global companies including Samsung Electronics, Tesla, and Dell operate businesses in the region.
